A hundred-strong march and rally in central London, a fifty-strong candlelit vigil opposite the Japanese embassy in Piccadilly and a packed public meeting in the House of Commons were staged this week by Japanese Against Nuclear UK, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and Kick Nuclear to mark the third anniversary of the 'triple disaster' in Japan and say "Remember Fukushima - No to Nuclear Power". SUPPORT IRISH NATIONAL TRUST LEGAL ACTION TO STOP UK BUILDING NEW NUCLEAR POWER STATION.

On Thursday, the High Court in London will hear a judicial review brought by An Taisce, Ireland's equivalent of the National Trust, regarding the legality of the decision by the UK Energy Secretary, Ed Davey to grant permission to build two new nuclear reactors at Hinkley Point in Somerset.
